Summary:

Under the direction of Inventory Manager, the Logistics Support will assemble and ship Georgetown Brewing orders, receive materials, maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas, and operate a box truck.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Reports to Inventory Manager

Assembles and loads outgoing shipments

Receives incoming shipments

Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy

Documents shipments and receipts with necessary information such as date, quantities, lot numbers, exceptions, damages, etc

Organizes and cleans storage areas (including cold rooms) as directed by Inventory Manager

Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Good organization and analytical abilities

Works well independently as well as in a team environment with others

Ability to stay focused in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Safe operation of material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial handling equipment

Able to pass forklift training within 30 days of hire

Need to have a current driver’s license, clean driving record, and operate a box truck

Education and Experience:

A high school degree or equivalent GED certificate is required

Previous experience in warehouse environment preferred

Previous experience using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift) preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Physically able to lift 75lbs and move 160lbs safely throughout 10 hour shift

Physically able to stand for an entire shift

Reliable transportation required

Primary working conditions will be in a warehouse/cold room setting requiring prolonged standing, lifting, and bending

Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week. Hours fall between 7am-7pm.

Rate of Pay:

$21/hr
