Full Job Description

Middle Fork Logistics is a growing, family-owned trucking company looking for an experienced full-time hostler/truck driver. Knowledge of the trucking industry is an advantage but not necessary. This position offers regular business hours M-F, with occasional overtime and weekend availability a plus. Pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Accurately and safely maneuver trucks around Fairbanks and surrounding areas.

1+ year of driving experience highly preferred. WILLING TO TRAIN RIGHT CANIDATE!

Valid Class A CDL and medical card

Interstate qualification, registered

Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50+lbs. throughout the shift.

Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.

Satisfactory driving record.

Must be open to working Saturdays.

All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test.

Experience:

-To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

-Ability to drive various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, lowboys, etc.

-Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems

-Experience with load/unload procedures and securing cargo

-Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
