We are currently seeking Prototype Vehicle Build Techniciansto join our team in Novi, MI. Job responsibilities include:

Vehicle Retrofitting

Vehicle Upfitting

Vehicle Build per Bill of Materials and Process Sheets

Build Concern / Challenge Diagnostics and Solutions

Assist engineering team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action

Complete reports of work and unique fittings during assigned project

Tracking personal progress to ensure project and corporate objectives are met

Maintain delivery timing on all assignments

Quality validation - pre and post build

Performance as a Team player - attitude and actions

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of automotive mechanic experience

Experience with equipment such as hoists, fluids evacuation, mechanic tools

Willing to work overtime as needed

Strong automotive mechanical and problem solving skills

Vehicle diagnostics

Reasonably skilled in the understanding of vehicle operation in HVAC, Powertrain, Drivetrain, Electrical Systems

Commitment to follow established Process, Procedures, Policies

Reasonable computer skills in accessing, reading, and inputting required data

Additional Desired Qualifications:

State of Michigan, ASE, and/or manufacturer certifications

Advanced Electronic and wiring experience

Scan Tool experience

HV Systems training

HV Systems experience

Hybrid Vehicle experience

Electric Vehicle experience

Vehicle programming experience

Fabrication skills and experience

OEM environment experience

Compensation will be aligned to skillset, experience, demonstrated performance
