Commercial Property Maintenance Technician

Eastridge is seeking multiple skilled and dedicated Commercial Property Maintenance Technicians to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our commercial properties, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. Your primary goal will be to maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for our tenants and visitors.

Locations: Vary around San Diego

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm (with some weekend work possibly)

$25/ hour

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and building fixtures.

2. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

3. Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property management in a timely manner.

4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.

5. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects as needed.

6. Monitor and maintain the property's landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and watering.

7. Ensure compliance with safety and building codes, as well as company policies and procedures.

8. Assist with snow removal, janitorial duties, and other property-related tasks as required.

9. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.

2. Proven experience in commercial property maintenance or a related field.

3. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.

4. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, colleagues, and contractors.

7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

9. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
