NOW HIRING! Building Inspector I - Placer County

The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for Building Inspector I to fill two temporary/extra help vacancies in Auburn.

As a Building Inspector I, you will review building plans and conduct inspections of residential and commercial buildings under construction or being remodeled. You will also determine compliance of plans and of buildings under construction with applicable State and County codes and standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: Three years of building trades experience is desirable.

Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in the building trades or construction technology is desirable.

Required License or Certificate:

Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to the completion of the probationary period, a valid Certificate of Registration as a Building Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
