Forman / Welder / Hydraulic Assembly -Full Time

Equipment fabrication company is looking for forman / experience welder / hydraulic assembler to build farm equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Eligible candidates must have:

- Minimum 5 years welding experience in MIG, fabrication experience preferred

- Basic electrical skills

- Hydraulic assembly, test and troubleshooting

- Be able to manage a small team of welders

- A High School Diploma or GED

- A valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation to & from work

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Fabricating components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies.

- Verifying welding results by inspecting and testing welds.

- Ability to read blueprints or drawings

- Hydraulic troubleshooting skills and ability to read basic hydraulic diagrams/schematics.

- Basic electrical assembly &troubleshooting skills and ability to read basic electrical diagrams/schematics.

- Willingness to accept direction and work in teams, ability to process knowledge in addition to applying it

- With limited supervision and quality work ethic to ensure that product quality requirements

- Manage small work team to delivery timely quality products

- Ability to keep equipment and work area clean and orderly

- Maintaining safe work environment by following procedures.

- Maintains adequate levels of performance and motivation despite job tasks that are routine, and/or repetitive.

- Ability to keep record of time spent and material used

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

- Basic computer knowledge

Nominal Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Flex hours available

Willingness to work overtime if required
