Lead Site Specialist - Inventory/Lab Support - Cambridge, MA

This individual will ensure the delivery of all external and internal shipments following established standard operating procedures while staying aligned with all DOT / IATA regulations. You will direct a team in a multifaceted work environment that assists with the development of life altering medications.What you will do:

Daily shipping and receiving of customer packages and shipments

Ensure deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout customer site are completed accurately.

Working with end user community to coordinate shipments and deliveries.

Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.

Adopts Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies

Maintain Shipping and Receiving packing materials

Daily use of powered and manual pallet jacks and lifters

Strong attention to detail in daily site Safety procedures

Coordinates activities between on behalf of the client

Review work instructions with leadership and colleagues

Ensure individual and colleague training and certifications are up to date and completed on time

Harmonize activities with other individual service providers and functional work areas

How will you get here? Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to include drug screening.​ Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent(GED)

College degree preferred, but not required.

Experience:

2+ years of dynamic proven experience preferred

Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred

Experience in GLP/GMP environment a plus

Phenomenal customer service skills

DOT / IATA certification

Experience with shipping dangerous goods
