Diesel Mechanic

HardHat is offering a long-term position in Shelbyville Kentucky for the following Position:

We are in need of an experienced Diesel Mechanic that can travel up to 5% of the time & must have a Valid Driver's License.

Scope of work not limited to the following:

Computer-based diagnostics; interface with modern truck interfaces

Basic computer use (email and web browser)

Adherence to DOT regulations

Performs tune-ups, brake jobs, and other preventative maintenance on cars, trucks, trailers, and other powered rolling equipment.

Dismantle and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.

Diagnose failures of vehicles, and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary.
