Entry Level Oil Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team in Minot, ND. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and capable of performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical, or systems. Schedule:

12 Days On / 2 Days Off Rotation (12 days on, 2 days off).

Day shift only (7:00 am - 7:00 pm).

Location: Minot, ND (local candidates only)

Mechanical Technician Pay: $19.00 per hour (with potential for raise to $21-$23 after 3 months based on experience)

Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:

Perform technical duties on all functional work group projects, employing test techniques/procedures for all key cell projects.

Utilize job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material.

Maintain production tools and equipment.

Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, component identification, wire-preparation, stripping, and crimping, harness repair and termination, and use of all pertinent manual hand tools.

Possess skills in electronics, hydraulics and/or mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, and/or programming.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Mechanical inclination is highly desired.

Previous oilfield experience is a significant advantage.

Any relevant shop experience (e.g., General Mechanic, tire shop) is beneficial.

Only accepting local candidates within commuting distance to Minot, ND; no housing is being offered.
