Automotive Detail Assistant
No. 1 Automotive Body Repair is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the Shop Assistant position.
Salary Range: $18 - $19/hr. Please note that this number may also increase with incentives/bonus pay.
Location: Bellingham, WA.

Below is a list of daily responsibilities for this position:
Assisting Parts Manager with unloading, sorting, and organizing inventory.
Working with the Detail department to quality control vehicle cleanliness.
Making sure the facility is kept clean at all times, including sweeping floors, taking out garbage, wiping down equipment, cleaning paint booth, organizing and loading parts, making sure supplies are stocked at all times, exterior maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Primary shuttle driver for our customers and their vehicles.

With that being said, please find a list below of some of the roles and responsibilities expected from someone in this position:
Interacting with customers and understanding their requirements.
Giving suggestions and recommendations to customers regarding their vehicle.
Estimating the cost and the time for the repair of the vehicle.
Coordinating work processes with the technicians and other departments of the organization.
Ensure parts are ordered for repairs and onsite for appointment date
Keeping up with market trends and prices and competitor strategies.
Negotiating with customers for prices.
Negotiating with Insurance Companies
Following automobile industry safety norms and standards.
Taking telephonic inquires and queries of customers.
Meeting all assigned targets and objectives.
Making evaluating reports for the establishment and attending training process for new products.
