Local General Contractor Hiring for Summer 2024'

- Carpenter Position available & Laborer Position Available

- All work located in Truckee

Labor Position: $24-33 /Hour

Carpenter Position: $33-45/Hour

Laborer:

- Assist carpenters and other skilled workers in various construction tasks, including carrying materials, operating machinery, and cleaning work areas.

- Load and unload construction materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to the job site.

- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and other temporary structures as needed.

- Perform basic carpentry tasks under supervision, such as cutting lumber and assembling frameworks.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site, including proper disposal of waste materials.

Carpenter:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to blueprints and specifications

- Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools

- Install windows, doors, cabinets, and trim with precision and attention to detail

- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.

- Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long hours in outdoor environments.

- Physical dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely.
