Retail Sales Associate

Fleet Farm is hiring Retail Sales Team Members for our store in Fargo, ND. The Retail Sales Team Member will provide a friendly and efficient customer experience. The position builds rapport through customer interactions and assists in merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and the coordination of the freight flow process to ensure sales floor representation of all merchandise. We are also hiring warehouse/back of house workers.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Can work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future

Available to work a flexible retail schedule that can include days, evenings, weekends and some holidays

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and climb ladders is required

Essential Job Functions:

You must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Greet and acknowledge all Customers and build rapport to establish repeat business

Keeps all endcaps, side merchandise and sale items full and in stock

Maintains customer readiness standards by keeping sales floor clean, including shelves, rail tops, displays and kick plates

Assists in completing in store price changes including regular price, clearance and sales price changes

Executes nightly recovery of departments through fronting and facing of shelves, sweeping and cleaning and critical product filling

Trained in cash register functionality and is readily available to promptly assist in running a cash register, if customer demand requires

Able to climb ladders to pull product from overstock to fill shelves

Able to operate a hand help RF unit to check prices, inventory and create price labels

Extend and promote company offers and promotions to customers

Provide product solutions to customer needs including additional items that compliment and fulfill the original need

Understand store operations as it relates to register transactions, freight processing, merchandise placement, and product replenishment

Assist in merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and the coordination of the freight flow process to ensure sales floor representation of all merchandise

Perform other duties as assigned or required

Model cross functional teamwork and communication

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business. Including nights, weekends and holidays
