Remodeling Estimator

We are a home remodeling company looking for an estimator with residential remodeling experience. We are looking for someone that has field experience in residential construction and worked there way up to supervisor. Good communication skills, willing to learn, positive attitude and ability to read construction plans.

The Estimator will be responsible for creating precise and accurate estimates, tracking material costs and unit pricing per multiple items/trades through our estimating software. Pre bid site visits with clients and vendors will be conducted by the estimator.

Job Functions:

Meeting with clients

Analyze drawings and specifications

Creating accurate and precise cost estimates, negotiate bids with sub contractors.

Provide clear detailed quantity Take Offs.

Walk homeowners through the process of the remodel with an understanding of building codes and requirements.

Ability to fully and extensively read through plans.

Email with clients and team members. Computer skills are a most.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: D.O.E.

Experience: Field experience is a most, within the residential construction. 5+ years experience.

Willingness To Travel: We work all of orange county and Long Beach areas. You will be required to drive and meet at clients home.
