Carpenter/Laborer - Residential homes

We are a high-end design/build firm for custom single-family homes in Chicago’s Lincoln Park and Gold Coast. We are looking for highly qualified individuals with significant experience in residential construction.

Hours - M-F 7am-3:30pm, some Saturdays, on-call for emergencies.

Wages

Carpenter - $25-$35/hr subject to abilities, experience, and scope of duties.

Laborer - $15-$25/hr subject to abilities, experience, and scope of duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform their work in a continuous, careful, safe, and expedient manner.

Have own tools necessary for the work and in good, working order.

Be physically fit to perform their duties, i.e., to lift/carry or assist workers in lifting/carrying heavy loads (e.g., 50-100+lbs per person), climb ladders and, shoveling, each from time to time and on a daily basis, properly/safely use power and other tools, etc.

Know general building and safety codes.

Must be honest, trustworthy, and responsible.
