Our collaboration is focused on increasing access to care through a growing network of leading specialists and revolutionizing healthcare to save lives and improve the health of the communities we serve.ResponsibilitiesPhysical Therapy Aide responsibility is technical work in the application of a variety of physical therapeutic treatments to patients. Responsible for assisting in the treatment of physical disabilities, injuries, and diseases through the use of a variety of therapeutic modalities. Work involves the application of a physician's prescription in accordance with standard therapy practice. All work is performed under the direction or supervision of a Licensed Physical Medical and Rehab Clinician and is reviewed through observation of techniques employed and results obtained.ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers treatment in all phases of therapeutic exercises and functional training as directed by licensed therapist.

Administers treatment using exercise equipment and mobility devices as instructed by therapist.

Administers therapeutic modalities.

Assists in observing the reaction of patients and notifying the supervising therapist.

Performs delegated part of a treatment plan as directed and Provides the therapist with a description of treatment

given and of the patient’s progress.

Reinforces therapist instructions.

Keeps equipment and treatment area clean and follows infection control procedures.

May Performs clerical Functions.

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED

Basic Life Supoort (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
