Investigate and correct accounts pertaining to reject report and CBR control reports received monthly Investigate and respond to credit bureau disputes received directly from the consumer via mail or phone. Investigate and respond to Adverse Action requests, including responding directly to the consumer. Investigate and respond to Inquiry Removal requests, including responding directly to the consumer. Investigate and respond to Validation of Debt and Goodwill requests, including responding directly to the consumer. Maintain current knowledge of CDIA guidelines for reporting and responding to disputes, including Metro2 knowledge according to the Credit Reporting Resource Guide. Submit manual updates to CRAs for major account status changes. Ensures compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations and standards. Other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.Two (2) years of credit bureau reporting and disputes experience.(One) 1 to (two) 2 years of work related experience, in the finance or credit related industry preferred.Familiarity with loan documentation, i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, etc.Some college coursework in a related discipline preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Database skills preferred.A working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, loan services, and/or specialty areas preferred.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills required, as well as the ability to utilize appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic.Must possess sound judgment in gauging the severity of identified problems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.High attention to detail; able to methodically review the execution of procedures and identify issues.#LI-RemoteExeter Finance LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons. 19.00 USD-$23.50At Exeter Finance, we are committed to helping customers find the right financing for their next vehicle purchase.
