Dog Walker Wanted - $18+/hr - Uptown

Uptown Pet Services is a small, but rapidly growing, professional pet sitting company based in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago.

We are looking to add a new member to our team of dedicated dog walkers, so if you have a passion for animals and you're looking for a job working with pets, we would love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate for this position must:

- Be a self-starter and work well without direct supervision

- Be trustworthy and willing to submit to a criminal background check

- Enjoy being outdoors in all kinds of weather

- Be willing to make a 6-month commitment (minimum)

- LOVE pets of all shapes, sizes and temperaments

In addition to the above, Uptown Pet Services also requires you to have:

- Daily access to a computer with internet access

- Daily access to a printer or smart phone

- Daily access to a dependable car (avid cyclists are also considered)

And lastly, in order to be considered for this position, you MUST live in (or nearby) the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position, you can expect to earn $18+/hr to start, and there is room for advancement.

We are looking for someone with availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am-4pm, and occasional evening/weekend availability is a plus.
