Traveling Field Service Technician needed to support company out of Panama City, FL. 90% travel required (domestic internationally). Must be willing to submit to drug and background check. Pay is based on experience. Hourly rate daily perdiem, travel 20 hours of OT a week.

Traveling Field Service Technician needed to support company out of Panama City, FL. 90% travel required (domestic internationally). Must be willing to submit to drug and background check. Pay is based on experience. Hourly rate daily perdiem, travel 20 hours of OT a week.Must have PLC troubleshooting experience. Will travel to various manufacturing plants containing companies equipment and install, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment. Could be required to train new Technicians on site how to work with equipment.ResponsibilitiesAct as the face of the company and represent them at their clients worldwide.Travel to domestic and international customer's plants to train and assist company and customer personnel in installation, start up, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting operations and techniques for customer products as prescribed in O&M manuals.Prepare detailed reports of service calls indicating problems encountered and work performed. In some instances, make recommendations for design change considerations.Review customer processes and equipment to make recommendations for new equipment or equipment upgrades.Make various field test simulations of materials and evaluate results to aid in solving operating and or accuracy problemsReceive calls from customers and resolve problems by phone or by visiting plant to inspect and rectify malfunctions.Make periodic return trips to customer's plants to check procedures and operations used, and to test and evaluate materials.Required Experience

Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or 2 years of field experience.

Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment including; PLC's, HMI's, AC/DC motors, Networks, Circuit Design, Controllers, Control panels.

Must have experience connecting to a PLC for troubleshooting reasons.

Willing to travel internationally and domestically 80% of the time.

Ability to obtain Passport

Ability to obtain TWIC Badge

Valid Drivers License

Preferred Experience

Experience with Allen Bradely PLCs

Experience with RSLOGIX 500 & 5000

Experience with Factory Talk
