What you'll do:As the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you’ll lead the information technology Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and Digital Technology strategies and roadmap implementations for the Bank. You’ll proactively guide the organization through technology transformation and optimization initiatives. Responsible for our cloud-first-digital and data capabilities, the Director of Enterprise Architecture will identify existing, new, and emerging technologies that will transform and optimize business outcomes and operating models. As part of the technology leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you’ll take a collaborative approach with other leaders to drive targeted results and enable future-state capabilities.What we are looking for:

  • Lead the creation of the technology strategy and facilitate business and IT alignment through a collaborative, supportive and consultative approach that identifies opportunities for delivering differentiating capabilities. Build and maintain collaborative relationships providing consultative technology solution advice to business leaders and organizational stakeholders while acting as a thought leader to create a competitive edge for emerging technology solutions, developing new digital business solutions, and transforming data capabilities.
  • Deliver continued implementation and oversight of the enterprise architecture program defining the reference architectures and developing standards and minimal viable reference architectures that are informed by the business strategy for Digital, Security, Infrastructure, Data, and Technology Solutions domains.
  • Drive continued maturity of the data governance program fostering the creation of a data-driven culture and providing oversight for enterprise data quality, business data stewardship, development of data solutions, and leading the implementation of best practices for data literacy and use of data and analytics across the Bank. Oversee the development and deployment for the enterprise’s data, analytics, and digital technologies, while identifying new types and sources of data to enable business innovation.
  • Own the organization’s technology digital strategy and develop technology solutions or components that advance the digital engagement of customers and bank employees. Identify opportunities for acquiring, developing, and integrating differentiating digital technology solutions.
  • Lead, motivate and get the very best out of a team. Develops, directs, coaches, mentors and reinforces team members in line with the mission, vision, values, goals and performance standards of the organization
  • Prepares and manages annual budget, providing thought leadership and working collaboratively across the CIO organization on innovation, improvement, and efficiency programs.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years as a senior technology leader with broad knowledge across a diversity of business and technology functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Master’s Degree in Business or technical discipline is a plus.
  • Experience in financial services industry with proven regulatory and compliance discipline strongly preferred.
  • Experience with large, enterprise core platforms and providers, mobile and digital platforms, and system integration technologies. Banking specific experience within this space strongly preferred.
  • Broad experience desired in multiple competency areas of data and analytics delivery. Examples are data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, deliver innovation, and drive improved user experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences and senior business management.
  • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive, partnerships with business, operations, and technology leadership and can work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and business consulting skills with demonstrated experience in strategic technology planning and execution, and policy development and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms (particularly Azure), and integration into banking infrastructure strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership; proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors and delivering solutions.
