Microsoft 2020 US Partner of the Year Databricks 2020 National Consulting and SI Partner of the Year HashiCorp 2020 Partner Award: Americas Investment Partner of the Year Intel 2020 US Innovation Partner of the YearWe are seeking a passionate Lead FinServ Solutions Architect (IBM) to join our team.In the role of Lead FinServ Solutions Architect, you will be part of an IBM elite team whose charter is to build, deliver, and scale Insight's advanced services with IBM Cloud and Cloud Services. You will work as part of our incubation team as part of the CTO organization, with direct exposure to Insight's executive team. Insight has a deep track record as both an IBM and Red Hat partner - winning numerous partner of the year awards. However, as IBM transitions to hybrid, public and multi cloud, there is significant opportunity for Insight to become more services/solutions oriented with the IBM Public Cloud. The IBM solutions team will be responsible for launching this capability, winning strategic work, architecting critical client solutions, and scaling our delivery practices. In this role, you will lead the build out of our Financial Services team for IBM (with broader impact across our other hyper-scaler cloud solutions), responsible for architecting hybrid & multi-cloud financial services solutions with IBM Cloud and Cloud Services. You will work with other members of the IBM solutions team to drive modern, innovative solutions in the IBM Cloud and across IBM Cloud Services, including multi-cloud deployments. Candidates must have deep experience working with IBM Cloud & Cloud Services / Red Hat products, while also possessing a strong track record with pre-sales and solutions selling. What you'll do at Insight:

• Serve as subject matter expert for IBM's Financial Services Solutions within Insight. In that capacity, you will help to develop/specify the patterns and guidance for global technical enablement across Insight.
• Work closely with Insight sales teams to identify opportunities, deal shape, and drive customer wins.
• Mentor other resources as Insight builds delivery scale within our solution areas.
• Manage the planning and implementation of strategic customer engagements.
• Refine solution offerings and sales plays for repeatability and success in this area.
• Serve as a thought leader to customers, recommending best of breed solutions with IBM Cloud and Cloud Services.
• Deliver client workshops and strategic webinars to drive demand and provide thought leadership.
• Review progress with Insight and IBM executive teams.
• Grow Insight's knowledge base and IP with IBM Cloud and Cloud Services

Financial Services Domain and Technical Requirements:

• This position requires strong technical skills and knowledge to design, solution, and configure IBM Cloud IaaS/PaaS solutions, specifically IBM Cloud for Financial Services
• Significant architectural experience in EITHER Insurance, Banking, Financial Markets, and/or Insurance vertical markets
• Demonstrated skills to enable enterprise financial services organizations to rapidly adopt, build and deploy rich financial services applications utilizing tools in the IBM Cloud portfolio. This includes RedHat Openshift on IBM Cloud, IBM Kubernetes Services, IBM Cloud Container Registry, DevOps Tool Chains, Cloud Foundry and Functions, in addition to the many API's and services on the IBM Cloud.
• 3+ years of at-scale experience architecting and developing hybrid and public cloud application solutions leveraging Java application development, APIs, Microservices and PaaS Architectures
• 3+ years of experience leading Cloud transformation journey in strategy, design, application migration planning and/or implementation
• Strong practical knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps and Production best practices

Leadership Requirements:

• Demonstrated level of business acumen as it applies to the client's business (finance)
• Skilled in consultative selling, with an understanding of the client's needs and IBM capabilities
• Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the ability to think, plan and act strategically
• Extensive networking and interpersonal skills in complex environments
• Self-starter with eagerness to seek learn and adapt technology solutions to customer needs

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in delivering mainframe/legacy technology transformation projects (as is common in the Financial Services and Insurance Industry)
• 5+ years of experience documenting and presenting recommendations to clients and/or stakeholders as a subject matter expert
• 3+ years of experience with at-scale Data Innovation and modernization for competitive advantages, inclusive of Advanced Analytics, Event Driven Architectures, AI and ML
• 3+ years' experience leading Cloud transformation journeys involving onboarding ISVs via API integration
• Certification in RedHat or Architect certification in one of the prominent Public Clouds (IBM, AWS, Azure, GCP)
