This product team is responsible for building and maintaining the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for a private internal cloud platform called Technical Platform 2 (TP2).The work environment is very collaborative, fast paced, and utilizes agile methodologies. Technical skills and abilities will be challenged every day, and the expectation is adequate time is invested into learning and developing new skills on a continual basis as the job demands.We have a combination of software developers and infrastructure analysts on the team currently, and need someone with Bash knowledge and/or experience. This is a core language to our platform-as-a-service, and as a result, a key skill needed to understand, monitor, and debug our platform.Special Note: This posting is for Experienced Infrastructure Analysts.QualificationsPrimary (required) skills:

  • Understanding of cloud-native platforms. (Containerization, CI/CD, Orchestration, Observability, Service Mesh, Distributed Database & Storage, Networking, Messaging, Container Registry & Runtime)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Bash.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Linux.
  • Learning agility and willingness to study and adopt new technologies.
Additional (secondary) skills / Experience:
  • Efficiency through automation (manage configuration, maintenance, performance monitoring).
  • Applies software development skills, tools, and processes to implement automation solutions where appropriate.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex problems/issues and completes complex assignments.
  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
  • Applies breadth and depth of knowledge to complete troubleshooting on highly complex.
  • Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) - A private internal cloud offering application services, runtime, and provisioning that simplifies infrastructure management for product teams.
  • Identifies opportunities for incremental evolution of the Infrastructure to support transforming business and technological needs.
  • Understanding of Agile framework and methodology.
