Job Description

Responsible for all internal activities and product development. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.1. Minimum of 6 years direct experience in Turbine components design and analysis.2. Perform detailed design and analysis of cooled turbine components, such as rotor assemblies, blades and vanes.3. Fully capable of carrying out 2D and 3D heat transfer analysis using in-house and commercial tools, such as STAR-CCM+.4. Familiar with engine secondary flow design and analysis.5. Familiar with CAD tools such as NX and be able to manipulate geometries using CAD tools.6. Familiarity with cooled turbine blade and vane failure mechanisms as well as lifing analyses (stress rupture, oxidation, LCF and TMF) is a plus.7. Able to perform risk assessments and problem solving with root cause analysis.8. Communicate technical results to internal customers through written reports and oral presentations.

Qualifications
