Accounts Payable Clerk

DescriptionAccountemps currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Semi-Conductors, Electric Component Manu field. This Accounting Clerk position offers an opportunity to become an essential part of International Construction Company. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Burlingame, California area and will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.How you will make an impact

Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

Implement full-cycle A/P

Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

Provide support to internal business partners

Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

Requirements

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

NetSuite experience

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
