Find your future with us.Boeing Space and Launch Engineering are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior In-Space Vehicles (ISV) Engineering Organization located in El Segundo, CA . This position will be supporting the ISV Engineering Director and organization in the management of the Operating Rhythm and Management System to ensure key functional and business deadlines are met. In addition, responsibilities will include developing presentations for executive-level meetings, supporting Director meetings with agenda planning and coordination, representing Director at functional meetings, such as Facilities, Finance, Safety Meetings, and onboarding new leaders. Leads project execution by identifying activities, resources, and events required to complete the work statement. Identifies and maintains performance metrics.

Plans identify, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.

Identifies and defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.

Implements corrective actions to improve performance.

Provides technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project or team plan.

Works under minimal direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredThis position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. The selected candidate will be required to perform a minimum of 3 days onsite in El Segundo, CA.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams

3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

3+ years of experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and be capable of learning the company’s unique applications

3+ years of experience in a role that requires negotiating skills to influence decisions

3+ years of experience in analyzing engineering data being compiled & reviewed

Strong Attention to Detail

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in a Leadership Role

Experience in Mentoring others

Experience in Facilities Planning

Experience in Data Analytics

Experience implementing LEAN principles

Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)

Typical Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
