Software Delivery Manager (Direct Hire, Local to Southern California preferred, no C2C candidates)The Software Delivery Manager will lead an innovative team in creating a roadmap to deliver custom application development, integration and deployment within the enterprise. You will foster communication and collaboration between various business and technology units in enhancing software product delivery and drive exposure and expansion of new technology solutions.Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross functional team of Developers and QA Engineers within an onshore and offshore environment.
- Deliver solutions within a Microsoft .Net and SQL environment with SSIS, EDI and data integration protocols.
- Be able to manage a large IT portfolio of projects and work with Project Management teams in delivering solutions.
- Manage team schedules, timelines, and monitor team’s velocity and burn down.
- Work with the QA teams to enhance or develop solutions and test scripts per business requirements.
- Review architecture design methodologies and carry out IT Change Management procedures.
- Research and lead DevOps strategies to ensure SDLC controls, quality software deployments and overall application health and performance.
- Work with other leaders and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues within production to find a resolution.
- Several years of strong leadership experience in managing enterprise software teams.
- Strong background within a Microsoft .Net environment.
- Hands-on architecture and solution design experiences is ideal.
- Prior experience as a hands-on developer, coder or programmer.
- Experience in leading an onshore/offshore team model.
- Strong background working within a Cloud (Azure DevOps) environment.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools & framework.
- Knowledge of ITIL standards and development best practices.
- Detailed knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Portfolio and other agile tools
- Experience with web service and API integration is highly desired.
- Experience with API management, HL7, ANSI, and FHIR standards are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Healthcare is required or highly preferred.
