The Enterprise Governance Office is responsible for the corporate data strategy that leverages data for actionable business outcomes improving operational performance and analytics insight. As part of the Enterprise Data Office, the Supplier/HCP Domain Steward will be a resident domain expert and responsible for the implementation of the strategic roadmap, governance and quality controls for Supplier (Direct/Indirect), HCO (Healthcare Organization) and HCP (Healthcare Provider) across the end-end data lifecycle. The Enterprise Steward will oversee the disciplined execution and adoption of the data governance framework working closely with business stewards who are data requestors, maintainers or consumers. Establish global consistency for data definitions, taxonomies, business rules and standards with business stewards that improve data quality, data integration and self-service analytics.

Work closely with business owners to build the business case to achieve the data vision, roadmap and priorities that drives continuous improvement, DQ automation and business value.

Define data validation, verification, and reconciliation strategy to support data governance, stewardship, permissible use and security.

Define data taxonomies, data classifications and ensure ownership lives within the functions that define the security and validation rules that enable the governance processes.

Support formal and informal data steward community by acting as "first line of defense" in fielding opportunities to improve data quality as well as resolving data issues. Act as the subject area expert in their domain.

Define data and identify assets with the Supplier/HCP domain and ensure there isn’t conflict with other data elements or intended use.

Lead the Supplier/HCP Working council and prepare for the steering committee managing cross LoB issue resolution, policy management and metrics focused on data quality improvement efforts.

Execute and support the data strategy roadmap in their respective domain including strategic priorities for development of policies, procedures, data management and advanced analytics insights.

Promote and educate others on data management practices to effectively implement and manage data governance standards and processes.

Coordinate and be the liaison for the planning, documenting and execution activities of data projects; along with tasks, budgets, timelines, and project staffing to successfully complete projects within the domain.

Serve as trusted business partner who can articulate the interdependencies between data management tools such as DQ, DG, MDM and Data Services to best support the business objectives.

Support enterprise data-decision making processes and facilitate discussion to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements.

Data Quality

Identify root causes of data quality problems within their assigned area of stewardship and identify sustainable solutions that embed quality checks closest to the source of creation.

Provide guidance to local and global resources to ensure the continuous improvement of business results through the implementation and management of standard Enterprise Master Data Management processes, tools, and accountabilities.

Validate and measure data quality, integrity, accuracy and consistency in the source and consuming systems.

Design, develop and maintain data quality dashboards in response to reviews with business units where data errors have been identified and ensure business rule changes are identified to permanently solve the issues.

Identify Key Business Elements and ensure they are fit for use have one consistent purpose and data quality metrics. Perform data quality rule checks to identify quality gaps in applicable dimensions based on intended use.

Support the business by defining data quality rules and developing the functional specification for the data quality developers to implement in the central rules’ engine.

Design actionable data quality dashboards to help the business make decisions on remediation plans.

Quantify the impact of poor data quality on the business and measure the benefits as issues are remediated.

Proactively identify data management solutions based on a data governance framework and business strategies to improve data management at source, transformation and consumption points.

Support proactive profiling, data lineage reviewing, performing root cause triage, and identify appropriate stewards for fixing root causes of the issues to improve information reliability.

Metadata and Catalog Management

Establish, manage and curate a data inventory/catalog with relevant metadata enabling business stakeholders to search and understand relevant data assets for analytics.

Manage the MDM Enterprise Logical Data Model which is the single source of truth for shared data promoting high level of consistency and reuse across all applications.

Map the data lineage across all applications and processes to enable an end-end view of where data is created, integrated and consumed to support audit compliance.

Maintain the Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Glossary and Reference Data (RDM) that support the data standards, data steward tasks, lineage and issue management.

Design, build and deploy Data Governance workflows, templates and other artifacts to facilitate execution of various governance functions.

Manage the HCP/Supplier community in the governance platform to ensure critical data elements are governed and managed.

Ensure compliance and security of the data. Responsible for protecting the data—while providing information on potential risks, impact analysis and understanding regulatory guidance such as GDPR, Sunshine Act, CCPA.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; preferably in a quantitative field.

8+ years of experience with core data management competencies (DQ, MDM, Governance, Analytics, Data Modelling)

8+ years of experience with data management functions including data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data modeling, data warehousing and business intelligence, master and reference data, data security, and data integration.

Solid understanding of impact of strategy, process capability and governance on business performance.

Ability to analyze, document, and present business processes as they pertain to data quality issues.

Demonstrated mastery over multiple data management capabilities and technologies (Informatica IDQ & MDM, Collibra, Reltio MDM, Talend, SAP) in helping to solve business opportunities.

Data driven passion, data certifications (CDMP)

Lean Six-Sigma project experience.
