Mechanical Systems Engineer

Description:VG is seeking a hardware systems engineer (mechanical or aerospace) to document and close out verification of system and subsystem requirements. The primary task will require gathering of verification data (from test reports and analysis reports) and creating, reviewing, and publishing documentation to justify the closure of requirements. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in Aeronautical, Astronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of relevant industry experience. Working knowledge of aircraft and space systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems (valves, actuators, etc.) Landing gear experience is a plus. Excellent written communication skills. Goal-driven focus with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
