POSITION SUMMARY

A Greenskeeper is an entry level operator that will be involved with bunker raking, green and tee mowing, and various types of hand mowing. Although A Greenskeeper in an entry-level position, it is an integral position of the Maintenance operation. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

 A Greenskeeper takes direction from the Superintendent and Asst. Superintendent.

RESPONSIBILITES

 A Greenskeeper will allow himself/herself to be coached by other team members to increase knowledge within their position.

 A greenskeeper will be pro-active while on the golf course, willing to make any suggestions to improve the efficiency of the Golf Maintenance operation.

 A greenskeeper will communicate any challenges about the golf course or any task to all supervisors on a daily basis.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

 Able to demonstrate a growing knowledge of proper equipment operation, including clean up.

 Able to handle physical labor of golf course maintenance practices.

 Performs other appropriate tasks assigned.
