It all begins with you.The Wells Fargo Deposit Products Group (DPG) offers innovative checking, savings and payment solutions that form the core of our customers' relationship with Wells Fargo and fulfill a broad array of their financial needs. We make our products and services intuitive so they are simple to use and fully integrated to deliver a superior customer experience through all of our channels.Our small team manages foundational checking and savings accounts functions, such as monthly service fee processing, account closing, and statement cycles, along with managing retired products and their customer base. We strive to understand the technical intricacies of these functions to identify gaps and opportunities. We develop new, and improve existing, functions. This position has responsibility for understanding, managing, and simplifying complex processes that affect our entire checking and savings product line. This position works closely with other Product Managers, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Audit, and the Project Management Office.Primary responsibilities include:Process ManagementMap processes: Assist the Business Process Mapping group with mapping various processes associated with checking and savings accounts. Ensure processes are adhered to, and coordinate self-assurance activities with the self-assurance team.Process Improvement: Use process mapping, or otherwise assess existing functions, to identify opportunities to close gaps, streamline, automate, and improve the customer experience or reduce risk to the bank.Develop expertise: Develop a broad knowledge of the systems, processes, and procedures used to manage checking and savings accounts.Project ManagementPropose solutions: Create and deliver effective presentations to senior management to achieve senior level support for new or improved processes, controls, procedures, or systems development.Lead projects: Act as lead non-technical stakeholder on systems development projects, including defining business requirements from a product perspective, working with cross-functional teams during the development and implementation phases of projects, and validating test and production results.Guide communications: Provide subject matter expertise of changes being implemented to customer communications team.Product ManagementMaintain products: Ensure product information is kept up-to-date in product and procedure databases. Serve as subject matter expert of assigned products.Identify portfolio simplification opportunities: Assess existing product portfolio for opportunities to consolidate or reprice products. Lead systems development projects on approved initiatives.Perform analysis: Provide financial and attrition projections of recommended solutions. Track outcomes after project launch, and use data to refine future projections.Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change

Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

Ability to summarize and recommend new strategies/solutions

1+ year of SQL experience

Deposit products experience
