Our Company is searching for a Behaviorist to join our new team in San Jose. Who you are?You are part planner and developer in managing the behavioral services and intervention

You will provide direction concern service delivery

You will develop and implement functional behavioral assessments

Ability to gather data utilizing scatter plot, ABC Data Sheets

You are able to partner with team members, family/caregivers, regional centers in developing intervention plans

Under the general direction of the Day Program Manager, the Behaviorist, plans, develops and manages the behavioral management services and intervention for consumers assigned to their caseload. Performance of the typical responsibilities and duties requires the ability to provide direction concerning service delivery, the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, provide consumer centered behavioral management services and guidance of Direct Care Providers, involving job-related matters that are of moderate to unusual complexity.Minimum Qualifications:Licensed as a psychologist, LCSW, or LMFT or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

Have completed a minimum of twelve semester units in applied behavior analysis

Have at least a year of experience in the designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services.

Have at least a year of supervisory or management experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:Employees in this position must have the ability to:Sit for extended periods of time.

Able to lift/carry up 15 pounds

Stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, grip/grasp, pull, and push.

Ambulatory status (ability to independently remove self from potential hazards; i.e. natural disasters, fire, etc.
