job summary:The team is also responsible for testing and validation of firmware which includes forwarding of different type of traffic types, Netflow, classification of traffic, rate limiting, QOS etc. Also this team is responsible for testing and validation of Ethernet and Storage drivers with different operating systems such as ESX, Windows and Linux , protocols such as FC (Fiber Channel), FCoE (Fiber Channel over Ethernet) and iSCSI etc. Validation of end to end functionality is performed, which involves handling different Ethernet switches, FC switches and storage devices from different vendors. Team provides feedback on documentation regarding new features or any changes in existing one. In addition to the day-to-day features testing, work on customer reported issues, try to reproduce the issues in house, identifying the cause of problem, analyze and test the fix that is done to address the problem. Lastly, the team is involved in all phases of software life cycle from understanding requirements, design analysis, feature functional design reviews, test plan reviews and most importantly, provides feedback at each stage of the project cycle to make sure the superior product quality.- Candidates must meet the minimum requirements outlined.- Minimum Requirements: ("Must have" Qualifications)1. Should have experience in end to end validation of adapter firmware and drivers2. Should be expert in ESX/Linux/Windows Operating systems3. Should be expert in FC/FCOE/ISCSI protocols4.
