JOB REQUISITIONDirector Strategic Accounts Contract Implementation ManagementLOCATIONSAN RAMONJOB DESCRIPTIONRobert Half is seeking a Director, Strategic Accounts Contracts Implementation Management who will oversee the Contracts Implementation Management team (CIM) includes the Contracts Administrator, Contracts Implementation Managers, Senior Managers, Supervisors, and Manager, Strategic Accounts Contracts Implementation Management. The scope of these positions include all contractual activity related to Strategic Accounts within the USA and Canada. The team’s primary function is to manage the complete contract lifecycle including negotiation, execution, implementation, and termination. The team is responsible for accurately communicate the contract terms across corporate departments and to the field. The team regularly monitors progress and access processes, investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes that prevent accurate billing and payments that may impact RHI financially or client relationships, and ensures that appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner. The team is responsible for providing weekly status reports of all assigned contracts.Specific responsibilities include:

Reports directly to VP and provides overall team leadership, strategic vision, and direction, through subordinate level management staff to facilitate pre & post implementation tasks related to Strategic & Regional Accounts.

Directing subordinate level managers / supervisors on the daily task of ensuring that Contract Implementation, Q/A Review, Intranet Data Integrity, Compliance and Auditing processes are being effectively implemented. The four teams reporting into this role are SA Contract Compliance; SA Content & Data Systems; SA Setup; and SA Contract Implementation.

Oversees subordinate management in their daily management of operational activities of staff including, but not limited to proposal preparation, contract review / negotiation, post roll-out monitoring and Q/A review.

Responsible and accountable for maintaining that all data and content used by Field Staffing Professionals in fulfillment of client job orders match contract terms approved by Legal Dept.

Leads teams in the development of an organizational culture that reflects and promotes accountability and high performance, encourages a team culture of learning, creativity and innovation, allowing teams to deliver outstanding results and excellent customer service for internal and external clients. Builds productive, trust based relationships with internal and external customers; routinely interacting with Executive / Senior leadership of high-level cross-functional committees or teams.

Overall responsibility for the management of the Contract Implementation, Content, Set-Up and Compliance processes and participates in the back-end strategic assessment of business/project pursuits and customer (internal/external) contact activities to provide for proper contract implementation and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Possess the demonstrated ability to coordinate large/complex contract implementation assignments and ad-hoc projects, and perform dispute resolution in cases of contract implementation or change control issue escalations.

Analyzes information, evaluates options, and think and acts to plan strategically - leading proposal, negotiation, administration and general business processes for scoping-out, building, and implementing new and continuing automated web-based systems.

Performs department review of contracts, both pre and post implementation, to determine completeness and assessment of service, compliance, and financial risks to RHI. This includes simple to extremely complex contract terms. The contract volume ranges from 25 to as many as 80 contracts or more per month.

Investigates discrepancies, identifying root causes that prevent accurate billing and payments that may impact RHI financially or client relationships, and ensures that appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner.

Manages the prioritization and implementation schedule of all Strategic Account contracts and/or special projects impacting any aspect of the implementation process.

Holds primary responsibility for the timely and proper implementation of each contract.

Determines the training needs of employees to develop and advance the depth and abilities of the staff, enabling them to provide the maximum business support on current and future growth opportunities.

Works with subordinate management staff to properly implement a contract end-to-end.

Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel.

Establishes and implements short and long-term strategies to deliver clarity to external / internal customers with reasonable SLA's.

Accomplishes Organizational and Departmental objectives by promoting sound business principles, application of leadership in planning, understanding, and providing accountable impact. Identifies, develops, and implements new departmental policy and processes, guiding team management regarding contracts implementation.

Interacts with all departments to promote business advancement and key business objectives.

Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Management, or equivalent and a minimum 10+years practical work experience or, a minimum 15+-years progressive work experience in positions of increasing responsibility.

Special Experience: Experience in reviewing contractual agreements, Project Management, and Accounting principles related to revenue recognition (billing, A/R, etc.)

Total work experience should include a minimum of 10+ years of professional work experience in related fields such as a Project Management, Contract Administrator, and/or Accounting role in positions of increasing levels of responsibility.

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience required; a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in the supervision of 15+ staff, is highly desirable.

Previous contract analysis experience required; a minimum of 7+years’ experience reviewing complex contracts for billing and service-related terms.

Project Management experience facilitating multiple assignments involving coordination and cross functional collaboration within and across departments / teams.

Background in accounting or reconciliation helpful.

Contract principles; GAAP rules

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Access, and Windows application. Advanced Word, Intermediate Excel required.

Ability to use the web as research tool, ability to quickly learn new software packages and in-house systems as the business need arises.

Working knowledge of Contract Management Software desired.

Knowledge of and/or experience with Vignette, MicroJ preferred.

Juris Doctorate or Paralegal certificate a plus

Proven organizational skills to maintain proper recordation of project status, files, workspace.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both internal and external customers including presentations, email, meetings, and document creation.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, and other corporate groups/departments.

Strong time management skills

Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and customer service orientation.

Ability to demonstrate reliability and dependability with regular attendance.

Read and interpret contracts to determine financial and service impacts (revenue recognition and overall risk assessment).

Demonstrated an attentiveness to detail, identify discrepancies, conduct research, resolve discrepancies; obtain missing data, and draw conclusions.
