In this role, you will develop application level software for machine control of complex medical devices. You will participate in the concept, requirements, design, development, integration, and testing phases of component and feature development.
Performs assignments of a very complicated or difficult nature requiring a high degree of technical competence.
Plans, organizes, and conducts technical projects under the guidance of Senior and Principal engineers
Conduct technical investigations into software and system level defects and problems
Conducts design and code reviews for projects under development
Follows quality process when developing features and investigating issues
Work closely with other engineering disciplines as well as commercial and medical team members
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGRequired
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or closely related discipline with five or more years progressive work experience.
Four to six years progressive work experience.
Competency with C is required
Strong knowledge and experience using Design Patterns and UML
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply to products is a must
Winning, can do attitude. Innovated, results oriented approach. Team oriented.
Preferred
Experience with Python
Experience in medical devices of in a regulated industry (e.g. FDA, Aerospace, Defense) developing software for complex systems is strongly preferred
Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodologies is preferred
