Your Career

The Professional Services Enablement Engineer - Prisma will drive the enablement of our Technical Engineers, Consultants & Partners that are focused on the delivering services for the Palo Alto Networks portfolio of products. The main areas of your focus will be, the development of a training program, the initial deliveries of the training, based on content you have produced and providing quality assurance to the trained engineers and consultants. In this role you will be considered a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work closely with our product teams and Global Solution Architects (GSAs) to develop the program including the training material and interactive labs. You will have the opportunity to develop the abilities of our internal team engineers/consultants and certified partners to deliver our products and accelerate their technical acumen.

Your Impact

  • Build relationships with fellow PS Enablement Engineers (PSEE), Global Solution Architects (GSAs), EDU Trainers and Product Managers to devise a technical training program

  • Recognize opportunities to streamline training to new hires, the field and PS partners through the development of training courses and materials

  • Participate and contribute services expertise, including customer use cases, as part of standardized PS readiness workshops for existing and emerging technologies that are part of Professional Services (PS) deliveries

  • Determine the applicable content appropriate to the course objectives including preparing and maintaining training materials and the required lab environments

  • Partner with program managers maintain a proper rotation of scheduled courses based on need and demand

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops and webinars to appropriate audiences

  • Develop metrics to measure a candidate and ensure they have met the appropriate criteria for advancement by observing and evaluating the candidates progress

  • Review and determine the overall effectiveness of the course being delivered

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) and a go-to technical resource for new hires

  • Develop and coach appropriate team members

  • Travel (50-60%) for internal meetings, enablement classes, and shadowing customer engagements (Post COVID-19)

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelors, or equivalent technical security experience

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • 10+ year experience of working Cloud Security environments

  • 2+ year experience in technical training development and delivery experience

  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Product Suite required

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and Alibaba required

  • Expert in SD-WAN and Cloud delivered protocols

  • Strong experience with Cloud Security Protocols (e.g. IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / DNS / Routing)

  • Experience leveraging various learning tools and media to provide optimal learning

  • Ability to think out of the box to develop structured training plans, actions, and measurable metrics

  • Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform is a plus

  • Experience with training and/or speaking to large groups

  • Experience with Strata or Cortex is a plus

  • Must be comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments and countries, from industry conferences to customer locations

  • Experience with a variety of information/cyber security products is a plus

  • Demonstrates expertise and confidence with delivery training

  • Certifications are helpful (PCNSE, CISSP, PCNSA)
