We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we’re looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.Your CareerOur Global Enablement Organization provides world-class training, certification, and digital learning solutions on our products that help address the world's greatest security challenges with continuous innovation that seizes the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, and orchestration.We are looking for a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer, with prior experience as a solution engineer, technical trainer, or technical writer to develop technical learning solutions for the Palo Alto Networks suite of products and underlying technologies that meet the evolving needs of the cyber security domain.In this role you will work as a part of a very energetic team of Education Services Content Developers to create and maintain technical training materials including lecture, hands-on lab activity, and eLearning content. The focus of this highly technical role is networking and network security. Extensive familiarity with technical training best practices, technical acumen, and strong writing skills are required to design and build learning experiences, which address a dynamic field and rapidly evolving technologies.As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will:

Design, develop and maintain technical training content and curricula serving the learning needs of the Palo Alto Networks’ product users, both internal and external.

Utilize your technical skills to efficiently translate complex technical concepts into effective learning solutions for SD-WAN networking and network security technologies.

Collaborate and work closely with engineering, product management, and other cross functional teams to develop training in sync with the product launch cycle.

Deliver alpha, beta, and ‘train-the-trainer’ training worldwide for internal and external audiences as needed.

Ensure the readiness of all course and lab materials prior to delivery, including localization, if required.

Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues with training lab topology.

Be responsive to the fast paced nature of innovation and revise content in a structured and timely manner.

Ensure high quality of training content by performing ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and updating of training content, demonstrations, hands on labs and assessments.

Meet deadlines and reprioritize as needed for timely completion of course-related deliverables.

Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and implement a variety of networking, network security, and NGFW technologies.

Stay current on the cyberthreat landscape and adjacent technologies that range from general networking to endpoint systems, from SaaS to Public Cloud infrastructure, from SD-WAN to Machine Learning.

Be self-motivated, organized, and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Architecture, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience in technical curriculum development, as a technical instructor, or as a solutions engineer.

Domain expertise in one or more of the following: Cybersecurity, Networking, Systems Administration, Cloud Infrastructure.

Experience with SD-WAN Networking is a plus (CCNA) - Network Security Focus

Experience with Security is a plus (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE)

User-level experience with Windows, Mac and iOS, and Linux

Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and effectively explaining technical topics.

A working knowledge the following software applications:

GSuite authoring tools (Docs, Slides, Sheets)

Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

XML Knowledge and Structured Authoring a plus

Knowledge of Camtasia, Articulate, and Captivate a plus
