POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARYProvides case management support and education to patients on assigned caseload through remote contact with patient. This includes: relationship building, assisting with navigating insurance and pharmacy protocols to obtain medication, referral source, and customized product and disease state training.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Adheres to principles as stipulated by program specific contractual agreements and company practices which may include: Interact and build relationships with assigned patients throughout duration of program

Provide patient centric education regarding treatment and disease states for assigned products

Manage caseload including schedule maintenance and adherence, scheduled calls/interactions, updating program database per company protocols

Coordinate meetings between patient and clinical partners

Deliver customized interactions based on patient’s needs.

Participates in program specific customer meetings and training sessions.

Participates in program specific orientation meetings and demonstrates clinical and systems competency on tests.

Performs special projects and performs other duties as it pertains to specific contract performance

QUALIFICATIONS:Registered Nurse (RN) residing in state that is part of the compact2-5 years of relevant experience with a BSN degree-Case management experience preferred

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software; basic database navigation

Knowledge of pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare business required

Ability to multitask in both PC/Phone related tasks

Works effectively and fosters teamwork

Demonstrates ownership of projects and carries responsibility for building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers

Results oriented; demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The RN must have an active unencumbered license in the state that they reside and should have completed the NCLEX or a recognized state board exam.

The RN will be required to apply for or have a compact license as well as the ability, with no restrictions, to apply for additional single state licenses

This role requires an active Registered Nurse license in Washington, DC, which currently requires up to date vaccinations against COVID-19 as a condition of nursing licensure. In order to be considered up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations and meet this requirement, you must have received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines within 30 days of employment. If more than two months have passed since the J&J vaccine or more than 5 months since the second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, you must have also received a booster prior to employment and will be required to provide proof of your status, as applicable.

In the alternative, you must maintain licensure in Washington, DC by establishing entitlement to a medical or religious exemption. Please note that the determination as to whether an employee is entitled to a medical or religious exemption for purposes of a Washington, DC nursing license will be made by DC Health and is outside of Cigna’s control. Maintaining all nursing licenses required for this role is a condition of employment, and the failure or inability to do so will result in termination of employment.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $29 - $48, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.Helping our customers achieve healthier, more secure lives is at the heart of what we do.
