SHOP PROMOTER / FIELD MARKETING OPERATOR

POSITION OVERVIEW

Pressure Incorporated is hiring a Shop Promoter to execute real-world, street-level marketing and support daily field operations for our cannabis delivery service.

This is an active, outdoor, people-facing role combined with daily shop support.

You will spend most of your day in the field executing marketing and brand promotion, and you will report to the shop by 8:00 PM every night to assist with closing duties and cleaning.

This is not a desk job and not a quiet role.

You must be comfortable:

Being outdoors daily

Talking to new people constantly

Pitching the brand confidently

Managing physical marketing materials

Assisting operations without supervision

SCHEDULE & PAY

Schedule:

Monday – Saturday

1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

(Must report to the shop by 8:00 PM nightly for closing support)

Pay:

$1,000 per week

Paid weekly

Employment Type:

Independent contractor (1099)

Consistency and reliability are mandatory.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Field Marketing & Street Promotion (PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY)

You will spend the majority of your shift outside executing physical marketing:

Hanging door flyers at apartment complexes

(Must be comfortable with stairs and extended walking)

Placing stickers at approved locations (gas stations, stores, etc.)

Installing and maintaining yard signs at high-traffic intersections

Deploying and monitoring Bluetooth beacons in high foot-traffic areas

Replacing damaged or missing materials

Tracking placement locations and reporting performance feedback

This is a labor-intensive outdoor role.

2. Marketing Materials Ordering, Tracking & Storage Management

You will be responsible for managing all physical marketing materials:

Ordering marketing materials when inventory runs low

Tracking quantities of:

Flyers

Stickers

Yard signs

Bluetooth beacons

Event materials

Keeping the company storage unit organized

Ensuring materials are stocked, accessible, and accounted for

Preventing shortages through proactive reordering

You are responsible for ensuring the company never runs out of marketing materials.

3. Brand Promotion & Public Interaction

This is a people-person position.

You will be expected to:

Approach and talk to people daily

Explain what Pressure is and how it works

Confidently pitch the delivery service

Answer basic questions from the public

Represent the brand professionally at all times

This role is not suitable for quiet or introverted personalities.

4. Event Marketing & Vendor Participation

Identify events where Pressure can participate as a vendor

Assist with vendor setup and breakdown

Promote the brand at events

Engage attendees and direct traffic to the service

Support brand activations and partnerships

5. Delivery & Field Operations Support

You will assist operations in the field by:

Delivering orders to customers when needed

Meeting drivers in the field to hand off orders

(so drivers do not have to return to the shop)

Supporting dispatch flow during busy periods

Communicating clearly with drivers and shop staff

You function as mobile operational support.

6. Cannabis Kickback & In-Person Experience Support

When in-person experiences are active:

Assist with hosting customers

Help manage flow and atmosphere

Support the Cannabis Kickback experience

Represent the brand during live activations

7. Shop Closing & Cleaning Duties (DAILY — REQUIRED)

You must report to the shop by 8:00 PM every night to assist with closing.

Closing responsibilities include:

Sweeping and mopping floors

Cleaning glass doors and windows (including service windows)

Taking out trash

Keeping the front exterior and yard clean

Assisting staff with quick end-of-day shutdown

Supporting any final operational tasks needed to close on time

This is non-negotiable.

8. General Operational Support (Growth Role)

As Pressure grows, you may also:

Assist with special promotions

Support partner activations

Help distribute materials

Provide feedback from the field to management

This role expands with performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Comfortable with outdoor labor and physical activity

Confident speaking to strangers daily

Sales, marketing, or promotional mindset

Organized and accountable with materials and inventory

Able to work independently

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working in Southeast DC

Comfortable supporting a cannabis delivery operation

Able to report to the shop nightly for closing duties

Cannabis experience is NOT required.

Professionalism, consistency, and execution ARE required.
