DescriptionAccountemps has joined forces with a well-respected company to look for a team-oriented Bookkeeper for immediate hire. This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity for candidates with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. Located in the Bradenton, Florida area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term temporary opportunity that you do not want to miss.How you will make an impact

Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

Oversee and manage general ledger

Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries

Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Proficiency in Financial Statement

Foundational knowledge in cash management

Payroll experience highly desired

QuickBooks experience required

Bookkeeping experience desired

Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
