Summary:

Summary:Assists with developing and leading classroom activities and developmentally appropriate programs.Detailed responsibilities:Applies knowledge of learning principles to engage the children in appropriate activities.

Works collaboratively with the teacher to assess learning/development needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions.

Assist the teacher with implementing the teaching schedule and curriculum.

Assist teachers with course progress report procedures.

Supervises children to ensure safety. Ensures classroom meets local licensing standards.

Attends periodical staff meetings.

Follows accreditation and licensing policies and practices.
