Chenoa is looking for a Sr. ETL Developer for our client. Location- Remote (willing to work EST hours)Project Duration- 6Months PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The ETL architect should be familiar with one or more ETL technologies and techniques, including Oracle Data Integrator, Microsoft SSIS, Python, Data Quality and Validation, Metadata Exchange, Master Data Management. The ETL architect should have knowledge and experience with multiple combinations of these tools within various project opportunities. Potential resources should be comfortable making recommendations regarding strategies associated with creating Data Workflows, use of the repository, and Best Practices regarding ETL coding strategies. This position is a very "hands on " position, so candidates will be expected to both lead and as well as develop and participate in project delivery.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities. Provide technical knowledge of Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) solutions for Data Inbounds into applications and Business Intelligence integration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings with technical peers regarding the solution designs. Ability to communicate with the Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Solution Architects when it comes to converting the ETL design into specific development activities Ability to do ETL development and to supervise and guide ETL development activities of other developers Understands and implements best practices, tuning and optimization for commonly used BI tools Best Practices and Implementation regarding data staging, data cleansing, and data transformation routines Best Practices and Implementation regarding creating business rules Experience in Data Modeling and Integration methodologies and techniques Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve Ability to develop and lead in a fast pace environment Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications and ETL integration is a huge plus Experience in Healthcare standard Data Intake formats (837, 834, X12, etc) is a must Experience in Healthcare Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence is a mustEXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years in ETL Development and Integration within Healthcare industry Lead design of all ETL activities for a specific project Work closely with project Business Analyst, Data Modeler and BI Lead to ensure that the end to end designs meet the business and data requirements Work closely with Project Manager to develop and update the task plan for ETL work and to keep the manager aware of any critical task issues and dependencies on other teams Develop the task plan for ETL developers for a specific project Supervise, lead and assist the creation of the data layer Perform checkpoints/reviews on presentation layer designs and code being created by the ETL developers Ensure that developers are applying Schumacher Group standards in all deliverables Lead Unit and Integration Testing activities and assist in User Acceptance Testing as needed Experience designing and developing with ETL Tools Designing and developing with Relational Reporting Tools Managing or coordinating the time and activities of other people and other groups Experience with tools such as Oracle SQL, PL SQL, Microsoft SSIS, Python, or other similar ETL tool Demonstrated experience working on strategy projects and evaluating software in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and/or Data Management space Willingness to accept and navigate political situations to insure the program continues to make progressCandidates interested in this position, please click on the Quick Apply button or send your resume to rmishra (at) chenoainc (dot) com with your expected hourly rate.Reach out to Rajiv at with any questions.
