Job DescriptionA client local to Tampa Bay is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant on a contract basis. This role has the potential to become permanent depending on the needs of the business. Only candidates with recent prior experience in NetSuite will be considered.Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Assist in the month-end close process
- Perform ad-hoc reports
- Assist the Controller or CFO with any special projects
- NetSuite experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role
- Proficiency with pivot tables & Vlookups in Microsoft Excel
