Performance Analyst, Shopify Fulfillment Network (Remote, North America, EST)

Job Description

To this end, we are seeking a Performance Analyst, currently based in North America, to help deliver on these missions. As the dedicated Performance partner for SFN’s Merchant Success and Support teams, you will be responsible for the tracking and communication of their operations through key metrics (KPI’s). At a more granular level, you will be expected to use your analytical background to uncover actionable insights, and prepare various types of analyses which will help improve our overall operations. Your work will be a key contributor to the decisions that will shape the future of our fulfillment network for years to come.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and track the most important metrics (KPI's), for the Merchant Success & Support teams, that will help SFN achieve its 2022 Investment Plan goals

  • Communicate the performance of the Merchant Success & Support team to the broader SFN organization on a recurring basis

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the areas you support to understand how new initiatives will impact their respective functions

  • Work with a variety of internal & external data assets for monthly tracking and ad-hoc deep dives

  • Develop clear, concise narratives for your various analyses that will enable decision making from the SFN leadership team

  • Work on a variety of forward-thinking special projects

Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Significant experience working in data analytics, or business insights
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen

  • Exceptional business partnering skills and the ability to communicate business insights easily and effectively

  • Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills

  • An MBA or a professional designation preferred (CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, or CPA)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous work environment and navigate through change.
