Staff Physical Therapist

Job Description

Physical TherapistOur Physical Therapy partnersprovidea full range of services for patientswith orthopedic problems, work related injuries, sport injuries and various neuromuscular and neurological conditions.As a Physical Therapist, you would provide direct patient care; evaluate case history, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions to develop and deliver an effective rehabilitation plan in order to restore function and minimize pain.

This is a full-time position.Our ideal candidate will have a strong PT background, a desire to grow in their career, has great communication skills and works well in high-energy environments all while being flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive, caring evaluations on new patients, establish achievable goals and develop actionable treatment plans
  • Provide on-going physical therapy services that effectively and efficiently comply with treatment plans
  • Take ownership of obtaining necessary additional information and suggesting revisions in treatment as appropriate
  • Document all evaluations, treatments and other pertinent patient interactions in accordance with company policy
  • Skillfully and safely progress patients through their levels of treatment until successful completion of care
  • Engage with patients for a more impactful, effective, sustainable treatment experience
  • Actively pursue professional growth through affiliation with professional PT associations, workshop attendance and conferences

Qualifications

  • Diploma (certification) from a CAPTE-approved program
  • Current PT license (upcoming application also acceptable)
  • Take ownership of obtaining necessary additional information and suggesting revisions in treatment as appropriate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic in both independent and collaborative settings
