Description:This position entails working with the Advanced Analytics product team to perform statistical/machine learning analysis and model development using a variety of techniques and tools, and explore data-related questions and provide insights through the use of applied analytics and artificial intelligence. This is a highly specialized and skilled position. Work Assignments: • Statistical/machine learning analysis and model development using a variety of techniques and tools (primarily Python). • Test driven development in Python. • Analytic use case development. • Advanced interactive data visualization development (e.g. Matplotlib, ggplot2, Seaborn, Plotly, Bokeh). • Code and data management. A competitive candidate MUST have the following: • Demonstrated professional experience with statistical analysis and machine learning model development. • Strong quantitative formal education (BS, but preferably a graduate degree) in statistics, mathematics, data analytics, or a comparable field. • Proven high-level ability to interpret and communicate statistical results effectively to business in formal technical reports, presentations, and verbally. • Ability to effectively communicate to both business and technical resources at all levels of the organization (written and verbal) • Be an idea person. Ability to see analytic problems in the real-world, quickly proposes potential ideas to solve them, and knows how to execute on those ideas. • Ability to work collaboratively to solve analytic problems quickly and with excellence. • Ability to lead and participate in analytic work from inception to completion with minimal to no guidance, and deliver exceptional results. • Strong Verbal and written communication skills • Positive attitude and a team player bringing innovation to the team • Open to work on existing or new software • Willingness to share knowledge with the team to enhance the team's success • Readiness to adapt to changes in tooling and technology depending upon the needs of the analysis or the organization. • Ability to collaborate, seek and incorporate feedback from peers and leadersSkills:Data Model, Predictive Analytics, Python, R, Statistics, Data Science, erpss, big dataTop Skills Details:3-5 Years development experience developing data models using Python or "R" languages2+ Years Experience building and Deploying Models using AWS Sagemaker, S3 and ForecastMasters Degree in Statistics or MathAdditional Skills & Qualifications:This resource must be highly versed in Statistics and MathematicsExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
