Job Number: 233387Wire Harness TechnicianDescriptionOur client in the Peoria, IL, metro area, is looking for a Technician to create and install wire harnesses for a multitude of vehicles (Off-Highway and Agricultural Equipment) and collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities. Candidates need to be able to understand and read blueprints, read and specify electrical schematics, then identify the needed parts, and then build the wire harness. Ideally would need to have candidates with direct OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experience.Job Requirements- 3+ years experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries- Wire crimping, braiding, cabling and harness assembly- Familiarity with precision tools- Experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries- Excellent attention to detail- ship or Bonus:- A.S. electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programs- Experience working with technical drawings- Advanced soldering skills THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
