Moves material or finished product from presses and machines to pallets or from pallets to machines. The ability to communicate and work well with others. Handle stress of deadlines and fast paced/dirty environment. Have regular/reliable/punctual attendance. Work 12-hour rotating shifts and mandatory overtime are required.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up-to 45 - 55 lbs. throughout shift.

Ability to do basic Math Skills with a calculator if needed.

On time for every shift. Some overtime may be mandatory.

Shifts are 12 hours, days 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and nights are 7:00pm - 7:00am

Normal rotating schedule Week 1 SUN, WED, THU and Week 2 MON, TUE, FRI, SAT

Good communication skills.

JOB DETAILS:

$13.00 / hour for days and $13.20 / hour for nights

Reads skid tickets to determine skid bundle count.

Loads and unloads materials from pallets by hand.

Operate lift tables, hand truck to assist in loading or moving materials.

Jogs and stacks materials on pallet using correct pattern and secures bundles on the pallet as directed.

Moves materials from work sites to designated areas, including the baler room.

Attaches identification tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.

Cleans work area, makes minor repairs, and otherwise assists the machine operators.

May perform very basic clerical functions.

Assists operators with set up of equipment including webbing of the press.

May lead or train other material handlers.

Understands and follows the lunch and break polices.

Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.

Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
