Head Start Center Manager (New Orleans)

Responsible for the overall operation of the Head Start Center for children and staff in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of children and the professional growth and development of staff.

Responsible for the overall operation of the Head Start Center for children and staff in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of children and the professional growth and development of staff.

Qualifications: At minimum, must meet qualifications for Child Care Center Director as set forth by the State of Louisiana in Child Day Care Center – Class A – Minimum Standards, Louisiana Administrative Code; Title 48 C Chapter 53.

Must have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Early Childhood Education/Child Development from an accredited college or university. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a child care setting, one year working directly with children, one year as a supervisor responsible for the professional growth of another adult.
