This position is currently remote, but will be on-site for onboarding and possibly after the pandemic. All candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. Description of Work: The ServiceNow Developer will serve as the key technical resource contributing the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles that enables team lead and stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customer that leverages industry processes and best practices. Tasks include: Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processes Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead. Develop JavaScript server/client code. Create and use update sets and XMLs to move customer configuration and data between environments Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis. Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows Develop ServiceNow solutions and push developments from DEV to TEST to PROD using Agile methodologies Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relative experience, Master's degree and 5 years of relative experience, or 11 years of relative experience in an IT field in lieu of a degree. 5 years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platform that includes scoped application development, ITSM and preferably GRC/IRM modules; 3 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow process workflows 3 years of experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Roles / Groups. 3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in GRC: Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module including: o GRC Foundational Data & Entity Scoping o Policy & Compliance Configuration o Regulatory Change Configuration o Risk & Advanced Risk Configuration o Continuous Monitoring and Issue Management Knowledge and experience in ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) module Experience and proficiency with the following: o ServiceNow Data Import o Agile development o JavaScript o System integration (SOAP, REST, Stored Procedures, Queues, etc.) o HTML for UI Pages, Content Pages Experience with process flow documentation creation. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
