Tax Preparer Needed

Our office is seeking an experienced Part-time Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our growing office. This role involves working with sensitive client information and requires accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Strong performers may be considered for a year-round position after tax season.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual and state income tax returns (Form 1040 & all state returns)

Prepare extensions and estimated tax payments

Communicate with clients regarding tax documents

Provide clients with completed tax returns and e-file authorization forms

Requirements

ProSeries Tax Software experience (required)

Active PTIN (required)

Minimum of 2 years of individual tax preparation experience

Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills

Ability to work independently and handle confidential information

Experience with Excel, Word, Google Calendar

QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.

Dependable and Reliable

Strong Team Player with a Positive Attitude
