Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience with web-based applications
  • 3 years of experience in a data quality or data compliance role
  • 3 years of experience working with data management
  • 3 years of experience with SQL, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with large scale databases
  • Experience working in Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong understanding of data governance industry-wide theories and principals
Job SummaryThe Senior Quality Engineer engages clients to understand their data quality challenges and offers recommendations to create or refine an effective Data Quality Strategy.? They work to improve a client?s data quality through profiling, analysis and long term monitoring of their data.? This team member not only identifies current issues but also works with clients to develop sustainable solutions.Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand their data quality challenges
  • Offer recommendations?to create or refine a client?s Data Quality Strategy
  • Create a Data Quality Strategy and Tranformational Roadmap that aligns with a client?s goals
  • Conduct interviews with client stakeholders from Business and IT?to gather information on current Data Quality challenges and bring to light trends in their data issues
  • Determine current state and future state for the Data Quality vision
  • Improve a client?s data quality through profiling, analysis and long term monitoring of their data?
  • Profile individual datasets to define data challanges
  • Building, using, and refining trending dashboards to measure Completeness, Accuracy/Validity Analysis and Consistancy Analysis
  • Building out new data quality dashboards where needed for analysis and future monitoring
  • Keep current with company quality standards
  • Identify and help resolve data issues
  • Provide input on data guidelines, standards, and procedures
  • Help implement, communicate, and enforce data quality standards
  • Develop and utilize tools to monitor and ensure data quality
  • Mentor and coach other quality engineers
